Measuring & Sizing
How do I measure my window for Simple Sheers?
Measure two things:
1. Width – Measure along the ceiling where you want the track to go. Add a little extra beyond your window frame for a fuller, more luxurious look (unless you have a window recess — then measure the exact recess width).
2. Height – Measure from the ceiling (where the top of the track sits) down to 2 cm above the floor for a clean, modern finish.

Are the curtains made to my exact size?
Yes, we make your tracks and curtains to the exact width and height you submit, so the entire kit arrives sized perfectly for your space. No cutting, no adjustments — simply install.
What if I have a cornice or window recess?
For cornices:
Measure only the flat ceiling section where the track can actually sit — the track cannot bend over a cornice. If your cornice is deep, simply measure from the point where the flat ceiling begins.
For window recesses:
Just measure the exact width of the recess — the track will fit neatly inside.
